Marissa Casella

About Me:

Marissa is originally from New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics at Immaculata University in Malvern, PA while playing for the women's volleyball team. She then earned her master’s degree in Nutrition & Food Science from the University of Southern Mississippi alongside the completion of her Dietetic Internship. Prior to starting at IMG Academy, Marissa was a sports nutrition and performance fellow at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, where she gained experience working with athletes of all levels, including the Philadelphia Union professional soccer team and Lehigh Valley Phantoms American hockey team. During her time at Drexel, she worked closely with the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. Through her time working with many different athlete populations, Marissa has gained vast knowledge that she is excited to utilize here at IMG Academy.
