Lexis Evans

IMG Academy+ Mental Performance Coach

  • With IMG Academy Since: 2021

About Me:

Lexis has spent most of her career as a mindset coach in the youth sports space but most recently has completed a stint as a mindset coach for the NY Mets professional baseball organization. She is experienced in both virtual and in person mindset coaching and is best known best for her authenticity and creativity in ensuring a lasting impact with her clients.

Lexis’s love for volleyball led her to a full ride scholarship at Chaminade University where she studied Criminal Justice and Psychology. Unfortunately, due to an ACL/Meniscus injury during her sophomore year, she ended her career early and transferred to the University of Arizona to finish her degree in Psychology and Sociology. Her injury played an impactful role in developing her career as it led her to combine her two passions, psychology and sport. This combination helped shape her mission: provide other athletes with the psychological support she lacked during her athletic career. Lexis joins the IMG Academy+ team after years of coaching high school and club volleyball, providing mindset coaching for athletes participating in a variety of sports and most recently as a New York Mets mental performance coach.

When Lexis isn’t coaching, you can find her at the beach, binge-watching shows/movies or getting creative in the kitchen.
