Jeff Pond

About Me

Coach Pond is a native of Noblesville, Indiana. He comes to IMG after leading Mater Academy (Miami, Fl) as both Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. In 2016, Pond helped lead Mater Academy to the school’s first ever district title. In 2015 and 2016 Coach Pond helped Mater to 12-2 records and to the final 8 in the state playoffs both years in Florida’s 7A under Rocco Casullo. Before coming to Mater Academy, Pond coached under John Bowers at Morgantown High School (Morgantown, WV) where he helped the Mohigans to a #1 State ranking in 2013 as Offensive Coordinator. His running back won West Virginia’s Kennedy Award as the state’s top high school football player. Prior to Morgantown, Pond coached at both Noblesville and Lawrence North High Schools in the Indianapolis area under coaches Craig Barr and Tom Dilley respectively.
