Iryna Pimenova

About Me:

Iryna Pimenova is a former Ukrainian national team athlete (2016 – 2021), specializing in the triple jump and long jump. She is a national champion in the triple jump and has made a significant mark in the Eastern European track and field community.

Prior to IMG Academy, Iryna worked alongside Viktor Bondarenko, a distinguished Ukrainian Jumps and Multi-Event Coach (2014 - 2024). In addition to her own impressive career, she has been a first hand witness to the success of her husband, Bogdan Bondarenko who is the world ranked #3 all-time High Jumper.

Education

• Graduate of the Olympic Reserve High School in Kharkiv, Ukraine
• Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Management

Experience

• National Champion 2020 in the Triple Jump
• Multiple-time medalist at national championships, national cups, and international meets
• Worked alongside Viktor Bondarenko, a distinguished Ukrainian Jumps and Multi-Event Coach (2014 - 2024)
• Jumps Coach at Parrish High School (2022-2023)
