Giovanna Cavassa Ramos

About Me:

Giovanna is originally from São Paulo, Brazil and she moved to the US in 2013 to play college tennis at USC Aiken. In 2014, Giovanna transferred to the University of West Florida where she earned her bachelors degree in Exercise Science (2017) and was a strength and conditioning intern (2016-2017). During this time, she worked with tennis, volleyball and swim and dive. Still at the University of West Florida, Giovanna proceeded to earn her Master’s degree in Exercise Science (2019) where she worked as a graduate assistant (2017-2019). During this time she worked with tennis, golf, softball, and Football.

Giovanna rejoined IMG Academy as a Strength and Conditioning coach in September 2022 after having worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning from 2019-2020. Before rejoined IMG, Giovanna worked as the Fitness Director at Weil Tennis Academy in Ojai, California where she was responsible for the entire strength and conditioning program for junior and post graduate tennis players.
