Essam Mourine

About Me:

Born and raised in Paris, France, Essam developed a passion for golf at a young age, quickly rising through the ranks of junior golf in the region. Competing on the junior tour with his club team at Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Essam earned recognition for his competitive spirit, winning multiple junior tournaments in France. He also had the opportunity to compete in Morocco, where he earned several junior tournament wins. Essam took a major step in his golfing career by attending IMG Academy, where he trained intensively and continued to excel on the course. His time at IMG Academy laid the foundation for his advanced golf development, and he returned there as a post-graduate to further refine his game and continue his competitive journey prior to attending college.

He went on to study Political Science at the University of Central Florida. He later pursued an MBA in Sports Management at Webber International University while being a part of the Men’s Golf Team. Throughout his career, Essam has competed in numerous professional and semi-professional events across the U.S., France, and Morocco, and has gained valuable experience by caddying at several LET Access events and interning with the Alps Tour. These experiences have sharpened his understanding of tournament play and the competitive mindset necessary to succeed in golf at the highest levels.

Now, Essam applies his experience to coaching aspiring golfers at IMG Academy. Combining his competitive background with a deep passion for player development, he works with young athletes, focusing on technical skills, mental strategy, and overall growth.
