D'Angelo Frederick

About Me:

D'Angelo comes to IMG after serving as an Assistant Coach at nationally ranked Odessa College. In this role, Frederick oversaw the player development and strength & conditioning efforts of the program. Additionally, he was responsible for scouting and game planning for all opponents. In his lone season, he coached 4 WJCAC All-Conference players and five players that earned scholarships to Division I programs.

From 2017-2019 Frederick was the Head Coach of the United States Basketball Academy China in Xi’An, China. With USBA he organized all practice planning, recruiting and skill development of student-athletes preparing for collegiate and professional competition. Off the court he developed training and development programs for Chinese coaches to better understand advanced basketball tactics used at the professional and collegiate levels in the United States.
