Carlos Jimenez

Carlos Jimenez starts his first year as Head Coach for the U16 team in 2024, leading them to a Bronze medal at the AAU National Championships in Orlando, Fla. With over 30 years of coaching experience at collegiate and national levels, he has also played and coached internationally in Europe, South America, and the U.S.

From 2002 to 2016, Coach Jimenez served as tour director for EVP Pro Beach Volleyball, managing professional athletes and events. Jimenez has coached at notable institutions, including Western Washington University and Seattle University, and has contributed to beach volleyball development in Colombia and Europe.

Recently, Jimenez enjoyed success with the DI UC Davis beach volleyball team and previously established one of the first collegiate men’s beach teams at Webber International University. He also served as Interim Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Blackburn College and Head Men’s Volleyball Coach at Wilson College.

Coach Jimenez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fitness and Exercise Science from Western Washington University and has completed master’s coursework at Wilson College and the University of Lille. His certifications include USA Volleyball CAP I and various international coaching credentials.
