BRADENTON, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2024) - IMG Academy, the world’s leading sports education brand, announced over 100 student-athletes from its boarding school committed to collegiate sports programs on National Signing Day today.
Formerly known as National Letter of Intent (NLI) Signing Day, this day marks a milestone for student-athletes, and underscores IMG Academy’s continued commitment to developing student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.
With a focus on academic excellence, IMG Academy had seven student-athletes announce their commitment to the admissions process for Ivy League Institutions, including:
- Abhishek Thorat – Columbia University
- Isabel Weiner – Columbia University
- Charley Goberville – Cornell University
- Logan Missett – Cornell University
- Polina Krumkachev – Harvard University
- Max Boheimer – University of Pennsylvania
- Thomas Egbert – University of Pennsylvania
For the second year in a row, over 100 IMG Academy student-athletes committed on National Signing Day, showcasing the Academy’s comprehensive approach to student-athlete development. Today’s diverse group represents colleges and universities across all NCAA divisions, as well as Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and U.S. service academies. A breakdown of commitments includes:
- 72 Division I commitments
- 2 Division II commitments
- 19 Division III commitments
- 1 Service Academy commitment
- 1 HBCU commitment
The impact of IMG Academy extends well beyond its campus. Through NCSA College Recruiting, IMG Academy’s online recruiting service, over 4,000 student-athletes across the U.S. also announced their commitments on Fall Signing Day, further emphasizing IMG Academy’s national reach and its role in shaping future collegiate student-athletes.
