Syracuse recruit Chris McCullough prepares for Jordan Classic; Jim Boeheim describes 'unlimited potential'

Syracuse, NY -- Chris McCullough's Friday night homecoming coincides with his participation in a prestigious high school basketball showcase.

McCullough, one of two basketball freshmen who will descend on Syracuse next fall, will play in the Jordan Brand Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The 6-foot-9 product of the Bronx, who attends IMG Academy in Florida, will play for the West team in a high school all-star gala to be aired live at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse University basketball recruit Chris McCullough will play in the Jordan Brand Classic high school all-star game on April 18.

The Jordan Brand Classic will be held at the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets.

McCullough, a 6-foot-9 forward, attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., this year. McCullough helped IMG Academy to a 26-3 record this season.

The Jordan Brand Classic will be a homecoming for McCullough, who is a New York City native.

IMG Academy basketball invited to compete in prestigious National Prep Championship

After amassing an impressive 24-2 overall record through the 2013-14 season, the IMG Academy post-graduate basketball team will compete in the prestigious National Prep Championship at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Conn., Mar. 4-5. Only eight of the most elite prep school post-graduate teams in the nation are hand-picked to compete by Adam Finkelstein, ESPN national recruiting analyst and founder of New England Recruiting Report.

IMG Academy Boys Basketball program racking up points

The IMG Academy Boys Basketball program teams have been putting up big numbers over the past week. The Post-graduate Blue team hit the road for the Brewster Invitational, Dec. 13-14. The Ascenders opened the event with a game against Notre Dame Prep, and dominated to the tune of 87-56. Leading the charge in the first game was Syracuse signee Chris McCullough, who lit up the board with 26 points. He was joined by Nevada signee Eric Cooper, who added another 13 points, and Marko Lepovic with 11 points.
