Peimeng is a Chinese track and field sprinter who specializes in the 200 metres. He has represented China at the Summer Olympics twice (2008 and 2012). He was the 100 m gold medallist at the 2009 Asian Athletics Championships and was the silver medallist in that event at the 2007 Summer Universiade. He is a two-time Chinese champion (once in 100 m and once in 200 m). He has broken the Chinese record in the 4×100 metres relay on several occasions and is the joint holder of the current record of 38.38 seconds set at the 2012 London Olympics.
