About Dr. Angus Mugford

Print Bio

Dr. Mugford joined IMG Academy in 2004 and helped lead much of the growth and development of the team, managing a staff of 8 consultants and developing programs for junior and professional athletes and coaches. Through his understanding and application of skills, Angus trained athletes in group and individual settings, across a wide range of sports and consulting with NCAA Division 1 programs, athletes from the WTA and ATP tour, NFL and NBA. Ignite360 was developed under the leadership of Dr. Mugford to reflect the authenticity of the work of the IMG Athletic & Personal Development program team, while also demonstrating evidence based practice. Coaches, athletes and professional peers were integral in the development of the most relevant and appropriate testing protocols, reflecting a 360o approach to performance.
