On Wednesday, November 13, four IMG Academy Basketball student-athletes affirmed their college commitments by signing National Letters of Intent to the schools of their choice. The signees included:
Khaleann and Audrey-Ann Caron-Goudreau (Gatineau, Quebec, Canada) signed their National Letters of Intent to join the No. 28-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores Women’s Basketball program. Last season, Audrey-Ann averaged 12.1 points per game and five defensive rebounds, while sister Khaleann averaged 9.3 points per game while making 82% of her free throws. Their efforts helped the women’s basketball team finish with a 42-8 overall record, which included a 7-2 mark against junior colleges. They also helped bring home three national tournament championships on the year. Prior to joining IMG Academy, the twins were selected as members of Canada’s U-17 Women’s National Team after helping the SSF Blizzard to the Canadian Juvenile-AAA State Championship, and are considered among top-50 prospects in the Class of 2014 in the Full Court Fresh 50 rankings.
Eric Cooper, Jr. (Ontario, California) has signed with the University of Nevada men’s basketball program. Cooper will join the Wolf Pack for the 2014-15 season.
Oliver Black (Jackson, Miss.) has signed with the Mississippi State Bulldogs basketball program. Black took up the sport as an eighth grader, having played football as a quarterback, wide receiver and safety before dedicating himself solely to basketball prior to his junior season.
