The IMG Academy Soccer program's Shaq Moore and Tyler Turner have each earned a coveted spot on the U.S. Soccer U18 Men's National Team 18-man roster, announced today by U.S. Soccer. Moore and Turner spent last week in Carson, Calif. with the U.S. Soccer U18 Men's National Team training camp, held to select the top players to represent the United States in a tournament in Limoges, France, Oct. 6-14. Moore and Turner were previously members of the U.S. Soccer U17 Men's National Team, and enrolled at IMG Academy over the summer.
Moore is one of the most elite defenders in the U.S., and the No. 1 overall prospect in the United States for the Class of 2015 according to Top Drawer Soccer. Turner, too, is an elite defender, and ranked No. 1 among players in the Northeast, No. 2 among defenders and No. 13 overall for the Class of 2014.
